Hello Green Oaks families,

We hope you had a good Labor Day weekend.

It is great to see how our students are increasing their stamina and focus as learning continues. We can also see the benefits from reading being done at home when a child’s favorite interest is applied to an interesting book!

SCHOOL NEWS

Before/After School Music Program- Please see the attachment regarding the district Instrumental Music Program. We will only be offering instrumental music to 2nd-year students in a distance learning format for all of the 2020-21 school year.

UPDATE! USDA extends free meals for children 18 and under

Free Meal Update- USDA has issued updated guidance that meals can be provided at no cost to all children 0-18 years old. Beginning Tuesday, September 8, 2020, one breakfast and one lunch per child, packaged together, will be handed out curbside to all children 0-18 years from 44 school sites. Non-meat options will be available to families upon request. Please see attached flyer for more information along with the attachment listing participating school sites.
